Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for a variety of projects, including high-rise buildings, resorts, hotels, and multi-family residences. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our designs meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement mechanical system designs for various projects
• Collaborate with project engineers and designers to ensure seamless project execution
• Utilize software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and load and energy calculation software to support project designs
• Adhere to relevant codes, standards, and best practices in mechanical design
• Develop and draft HVAC plans, sections, and schedules
• Perform site visits to document existing conditions and support construction administration
• Develop a deep understanding of electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and their impact on mechanical design
• Attend internal and client coordination meetings with senior staff
• Apply general engineering principles to develop problem-solving abilities and technical expertise
• Learn the basics of project management and project budgets
• Expectation of technical and management growth to assume a more responsible role
• Take personal ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely completion

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and E.I.T. certification (required), PE preferred, along with relevant technical experience
Previous experience in a professional A/E office, consulting firm, construction contractor, or equivalent
Field experience is desirable
Ability to travel as needed
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, load and energy software, and basic word processing/spreadsheet programs
Strong written, verbal, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
