Data Governance and Protection Leader

Humana is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our data strategy and oversee enterprise-wide governance processes and tools, data literacy, and data quality. The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior stakeholders across Technology and all business units, enabling enterprise-scale data science and AI, and guiding Humana's digital journey by cultivating a data rich environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and lead a high-performing data governance organization
2. Enhance data governance capabilities and provide expertise in data protection strategies
3. Engage in AI and ML initiatives to enable data strategy
4. Lead the data security strategy and modernize data scanning and labeling
5. Partner with Security Architecture and Enterprise Architecture to implement solutions for data governance and security

Qualifications:
1. Seven or more years of leadership experience in data governance
2. Relevant experience with data protection strategies and cyber security controls
3. Experience in health, consumer goods or technology industries
4. Deep experience in data architecture and quality processes
5. Advanced degree in a relevant field is an additional asset
