Job Summary

The Patient Access Representative plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience. As a key member of the Med-Metrix team, you will be responsible for managing patient flow, registering patients, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the waiting area and address patient concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Notify relevant personnel of any issues that require their attention.
  • Provide interim solutions to patient complaints and concerns.
  • Collect and verify patient information, including demographic data and insurance details.
  • Enter accurate information into the computer system and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient-related tasks and provide general information to patients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
