Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Management Director to oversee revenue management activities and managers within our area of purview. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in revenue management, sales, and marketing, with a proven track record of maximizing revenue and profit associated with guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and report revenue management data to identify trends, future needs, and obstacles to achieving goals.
  • Develop and recommend sales strategies for pricing of transient, wholesale, and group segments.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and effectively communicate sales strategies and pricing to key stakeholders.
  • Act as primary contact and maintain productive relationships with hotel General Managers, sales leaders, franchisees, and owners.
  • Develop and manage internal key stakeholder relationships.
  • Provide targeted and timely communication of results, achievements, and challenges to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in revenue management, sales, and marketing, or related professional area.
  • 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Inform and/or update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
  • Enter, transcribe, record, store, or maintain information in written or electronic form.
  • Work with other people to gather information necessary to manage projects, achieve goals, and resolve problems.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
  • Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
