Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Global Supply Chain Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a differentiated supply chain strategy to optimize the business model from raw materials to finished product distribution globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a supply chain strategy: Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead the S&OP process: Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to balance supply and demand of raw materials and finished products while optimizing inventory levels to meet customer requirements.
- Drive innovation and leadership: Identify and deploy customer-enhancing value propositions to advance customer loyalty as a competitive advantage.
- Create a high-performance culture: Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and a sense of urgency.
- Coordinate planning and execution: Plan and execute the Chemours Titanium Technologies global supply chain, including three production plants in North America and a global network of distribution and warehousing sites.
- Lead sales and operations planning: Manage systems and processes to enable plan and schedule adjustments while ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work with Operations, Commercial, Logistics, and Finance to maximize revenue & earnings and minimize cost to serve during all market cycles.
- Direct global trade and Customs: Ensure compliance with Chemours regulatory policies.
Requirements:
- 10+ years progressive experience: In a global supply chain organization.
- Supply Chain Management Professional Certification: Required.
- Bachelor's degree: In a supply chain or a related technical field.
- Leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to build effective teams, integrating development of internal capabilities and bringing in external perspectives.
- Communication skills: Strong networking and communication skills.
- Travel: Up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business economics and network modeling: Understanding desired.
- Enterprise-wide S&OP process: Proven knowledge in developing and leading.
