We are seeking a skilled web application engineer to contribute to the development of platforms designed to deliver financial insights to investment professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating highly responsive and efficient web applications and will excel in collaborative, fast-paced environments. Your Key Responsibilities

· Front-End Development: Create medium to complex user interfaces by developing modular and reusable components with effective state management.

· API Development: Build scalable REST APIs that deliver optimized responses to front-end applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.

· Collaborative Development: Participate in pair programming with software and financial engineers, fostering a culture of shared knowledge and rapid delivery of incremental value to customers.

· Performance Optimization: Analyze and enhance the end-to-end load times of user experiences, ensuring responsiveness and reliability.

Your Skills and Experience That Will Help You Excel

· Expertise in Front-End Technologies: Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, native browser APIs, frontend frameworks (preferably React), state management libraries (preferably Redux), and CSS.

· Proficiency in Go / NodeJS: Demonstrated ability to develop robust, efficient, and scalable analytics backends in NodeJS or Go, with a strong understanding of language semantics and effective memory management.

· Data Structures and Algorithms: Skilled in managing complex data structures, particularly matrices, and adept at processing large datasets. Experienced in optimizing algorithms for improved data processing and manipulation.

· Test-Driven Development (TDD): Extensive experience in TDD methodologies, focusing on writing and maintaining unit tests, integration tests, and property-based tests to ensure high code quality and reliability.

· API Design and Implementation: Expertise in crafting and deploying RESTful APIs, with an emphasis on documentation, security, and efficiency.

· Service Integration and Data Transformation: Experienced in integrating application code with various external services and databases, along with proficiency in data transformation and normalization for effective analysis.

· Performance Optimization: Skilled in developing high-performance code that consistently meets or exceeds specific latency targets, including proficiency in software profiling and optimization.

· CI/CD Experience: Familiar with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment, focusing on writing code that integrates seamlessly with other services for continuous integration.
