Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 6 years of experience in system architecture or proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python, etc.). At least 6 years of experience in technical problem-solving and managing relationships with internal and external partners or clients.
Experience in designing, developing, or maintaining public Cloud solutions.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in converting business needs into technological solutions for clients transitioning to cloud services.
Experience working with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver impactful solutions.
Experience in migrating applications/workloads to public cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform.
Possession of a US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
About the role: As a Strategic Cloud Engineer specializing in Application Development for Public Sector Professional Services, you will support the Service Delivery team for the Global public sector, ensuring that clients maximize their investments in Google Cloud Platform.
You will utilize your technical knowledge and customer service expertise to foster a positive customer experience, enabling clients to thrive with Google Cloud.
In this position, you will ensure quality in customer interactions, building relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally to assist your team in fulfilling the technical requirements and business objectives of clients.
Your commitment to successful delivery and execution in customer engagements will guide your leadership approach in ensuring client success in your region.
Must be a US Citizen to comply with customer and regulatory requirements, including potential access to classified information.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

Responsibilities: Act as a primary strategic advisor, establishing a center of excellence around cloud Application Development technologies, including the recruitment, onboarding, and management of full-time employees and contingent workforce.
Assist in creating processes to drive the Service Delivery application development strategy to support business objectives.
Be accountable for application development-related pre-sales Statement of Work (SoW) support and approval activities, serving as the main point of contact with Regional teams for any data-related requirements.
Manage processes to develop reusable artifacts for public sector business.
Collaborate with other Service Delivery teams to establish global processes for various compliance or private cloud-related solutions for targeted clients.
Effectively present technical materials to diverse stakeholder groups.
Engage proficiently with executives of large enterprises on both technical and non-technical matters.
