Preferred qualifications:
Experience in converting business needs into technological solutions for clients transitioning to cloud services.
Experience working collaboratively with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver impactful solutions.
Experience in migrating applications/workloads to public cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.
Possession of a US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

About the role: As a Strategic Cloud Engineer specializing in Application Development for the Public Sector Professional Services, you will support the Service Delivery team dedicated to the Global public sector. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that clients derive maximum value from their investments in Google Cloud Platform.

You will utilize your technical expertise and customer service acumen to foster a compelling customer experience, enabling clients to thrive with Google Cloud.

In this capacity, you will ensure excellence in customer interactions, building relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally to assist your team in fulfilling the technical requirements and business objectives of the clients.

Your commitment to successful delivery and execution on client engagements will be paramount, and you will lead by example in making clients in your region successful.

Must be a US Citizen to comply with customer and regulatory requirements, including potential access to classified information.

Google Public Sector integrates the innovative capabilities of Google into the missions of government and education, offering solutions specifically designed for enterprises.

Our focus is on assisting public sector institutions in the United States to expedite their digital transformations, and we continue to invest significantly and expand our team to address the complex needs of local, state, and federal government and educational institutions.

Compensation: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The displayed range reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Individual pay within this range is influenced by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities: Serve as a key strategic advisor, establishing a center of excellence around cloud Application Development technologies, including the recruitment, onboarding, and management of full-time employees and contingent workforce.

Assist in creating processes to drive the Service Delivery application development strategy in support of business objectives.

Be accountable for app development-related pre-sales Statement of Work (SoW) support and approval activities, acting as the primary liaison with Regional teams for any data-related requirements.

Manage processes to develop reusable assets for public sector initiatives.

Collaborate with other Service Delivery teams to establish global processes for various compliance or private cloud solutions tailored to the target clients.

Effectively present technical materials to diverse stakeholder groups.

Engage effectively with executives of large enterprises on both technical and non-technical matters.
