We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager, Indirect Procurement to join our team at Specialty Products and Insulation. This role will be responsible for maximizing profitability and working capital by guiding strategic Indirect Spend activities.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and implement Indirect pricing strategies and processes in assigned regions and districts to support corporate and/or assigned targets.
- Elevate communication between Supply Chain, branch, district, and region leaders regarding market conditions, constraints, local relationships, supplier performance, and future opportunities.
- Support peers in Supply Chain, field operations, HR, sales, and marketing, and assist in negotiations with local and national suppliers as needed.
- Develop metrics and dashboards to assess, monitor, and communicate trends involving indirect spend costs and rebate/backside strategies.
- Collaborate with leadership and peers to prepare metrics, complex analytics, and build models that support long-term planning and provide greater short-term business visibility.
- Seven plus years of progressively more responsible business experience in forward-thinking organizations, ideally with assignments in Indirect Spend strategic sourcing/planning, sales, and operations.
- Skilled in leading teams, influencing business direction, and negotiating advantageous agreements.
- A change agent who is open to new ideas, a good listener, and comfortable challenging the status quo.
- A participative leader who will confidently share their vision and work proactively with colleagues to modify approaches.
- Academic credentials in business, supply chain, operations, or finance, with a graduate degree (M.B.A.) or other advanced study desirable.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to make presentations to senior leadership, key suppliers, and staff/project teams.
- Experienced in decentralized/matrix management environments, with a track record of building productive, respectful working relationships across the business.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Access, Database Query, and ERP systems.
This role will be based in an office environment, with occasional travel up to 30% or more. The physical demands of the job may include moderate walking, standing, and/or climbing, as well as light lifting and carrying.
