Global Category Manager: Clinical Supplies

At Takeda, we are seeking a highly skilled Global Category Manager: Clinical Supplies to join our team. This role will be responsible for planning and leading category projects for clinical supplies and comparators, developing sub-category strategies, and managing supplier performance to achieve global procurement targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead category projects for clinical supplies and comparators, including sourcing, demand management, and process re-engineering
- Develop and implement sub-category strategies to achieve business goals
- Manage supplier performance and progress activities to ensure delivery of value contribution targets
- Collaborate with the R&D Procurement, Clinical Development Services Procurement Team, and global business and procurement community
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 11 years of experience in strategic and operational procurement, with 5+ years in category management
- Proven experience in managing category management projects and developing sourcing strategies
- Change management and process improvement skills
- Experience with enterprise systems and procurement tools
