Key responsibilities encompass arranging interviews for prospective employees, executing thorough background investigations, facilitating training sessions, and managing employment documentation. Success in this position requires the ability to thrive in a dynamic team setting while ensuring adherence to labor regulations throughout the hiring process. Ultimately, your efforts will guarantee that new hires receive a warm welcome and a seamless transition into their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of candidates to determine their qualifications, experience, and educational background for open positions.
- Timely refer qualified candidates to program managers for further consideration.
- Engage in recruitment-related activities such as job fairs and campus outreach as necessary.
- Ensure accurate completion of all required documentation and processes associated with recruitment administration.
- Perform comprehensive background checks on candidates.
- Coordinate training sessions with the Director of Training.
- Send a welcoming email to introduce new hires to existing staff.
- Input new employee information into the company payroll system.
- Communicate essential information to new hires prior to their start date, including work schedules and contract details.
- Process employment paperwork efficiently.
- Collect feedback from new hires regarding their experience.
- Support the organization's mission and vision.
- Execute additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in recruitment or a relevant HR position.
- Experience in the nonprofit or human services sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now ATS is advantageous.
- Strong time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong work ethics.
- A valid unrestricted driver's license with the capability to travel.
- Being bilingual is a plus but not mandatory.
Working Conditions:
Mental and Physical Demands: The role requires the ability to think clearly under pressure, with a high tolerance for stress and the capacity to manage frequent interruptions. The position may involve irregular hours.
