POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Associate plays a vital role in fostering a customer-centric sales environment, ensuring that our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store activities. This position is essential in delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sales Performance: Achieve company sales targets by employing effective sales strategies and sharing product knowledge with customers. Assist customers in selecting merchandise that meets their needs and preferences.
  • Promotional Awareness: Stay informed about current promotions and sales initiatives; uphold pricing and visual merchandising standards.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Exemplify the principles of Outstanding Personal Service (OPS), ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience for customers. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Checkout Efficiency: Provide a swift and efficient checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, coupon usage, returns, exchanges, and security protocols.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through personalized service and effective communication. Utilize a customer book to ensure consistent follow-up.
  • Store Operations: Support inventory replenishment efforts to maintain a well-stocked store. Assist with visual merchandising tasks, including floor setups and signage placement.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative work environment by engaging in problem-solving with team members. Seek opportunities for personal growth and actively seek feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred candidates will have retail or sales experience. Must be at least 16 years old. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. Ability to adapt to technology and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting is required. Regular attendance is crucial to meet operational needs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Frequent walking and standing are required throughout the shift. Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs may be necessary. Climbing may be required at times.
