Position Overview
As a Retail Sales Representative focusing on National Retail, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate relationships and ensure a positive retail experience for our National Retail clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with existing and prospective National Retail clients at the store level to foster relationships and drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities. (50%)
  • Implement and maintain effective marketing materials across all customer accounts, identify suitable areas for cross-merchandising, and construct and sustain displays and point-of-purchase materials. (30%)
  • Collaborate with management and fellow field sales personnel to ensure the successful execution of territory projects and initiatives. Monitor and analyze point-of-sale sales data to assess program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to optimize sales. (10%)
  • Occasionally assist with the installation of new store layouts and resets. Conduct product knowledge presentations for store staff and customers. Document customer interactions in Salesforce and perform other administrative tasks as required. (10%)

Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or 1-2 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • A creative, diligent, and positive demeanor, along with basic carpentry skills.
  • Proficiency in safely using common construction tools, including hammers, saws, and drills.
  • Must reside within the designated territory.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Competence in Windows-based software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Solid product knowledge or familiarity with construction-related concepts.
  • Capability to manage projects, tasks, and travel schedules independently.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and teamwork orientation.
  • Timely completion of administrative tasks, including expense reporting and call documentation.

Work Environment
This role operates in a variety of settings, including professional office environments, customer sites, and outdoor construction locations. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners are routinely used. The employee may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts, and noise levels may be elevated at times.

Travel Requirements
This position necessitates 50% domestic travel.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this full-time, exempt position is competitive, with a salary of $73,100 per year. We offer a comprehensive rewards package, including quarterly bonuses or commissions and an extensive range of benefits for eligible full-time employees, such as medical, dental, vision, retirement contributions, and more.
