We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at RaceTrac Petroleum. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and selling products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and interact with guests in a genuine manner, suggesting products that complement their purchases to enhance their shopping experience.
- Retail Sales: Ring up guests on cash registers and balance cash and inventory transactions.
- Store Maintenance: Clean the store, including sweeping the parking lot, mopping floors, emptying trash, and cleaning restrooms.
- Inventory Management: Stock shelves and coolers, and maintain food and beverage areas with freshly prepared ready-to-eat food and beverages.
- Food Safety: Adhere to all RaceTrac, federal, state, and local food safety regulations.
- Visual Merchandising: Update prices and post new signage to reflect monthly promotions and sales opportunities.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of work experience preferred
- Retail or customer service experience preferred
