Diesel Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Pacific Rail Services is a leading provider of intermodal ramp services in the United States, handling over 8 million lifts per year. We are seeking an Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our East St Louis, IL rail terminal.
Job SummaryThis is a key role within our organization, responsible for diagnosing and repairing overhead cranes, side-loader equipment, hostler fleet, forklifts, and company vehicles. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, with experience working with air, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with overhead cranes and side-loader equipment
- Maintain and repair hostler fleet, forklifts, and company vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of equipment
- Assist other departments as needed to support the smooth operation of our terminal
- Minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a similar industry
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be able to pass a 7-year background check and hair follicle drug test
- Able to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive hourly rate ($20-$25 per hour, depending on experience)
