Diesel Equipment Maintenance Specialist

This role is a key position within US Foods, Inc.'s transportation department.
Compensation PackageThe estimated salary for this position is between $22 and $38 per hour.
Job Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel equipment, including trucks and trailers.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
- Complete repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability records accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to road service calls and transport equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with workplace safety regulations and government guidelines.
- A valid Class-A CDL license with several years of hands-on experience in diesel mechanics or refrigeration repair.
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills relating to equipment repairs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to manage multiple functions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
