Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Connerton. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, including neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations.
  • Perform advanced respiratory therapies, including life support techniques and equipment management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments, analyze data, and make recommendations for therapy adjustments.
  • Operate and maintain mechanical ventilators, including conventional and non-conventional modes of ventilation.
  • Monitor and report arterial blood gases, co-oximetry, and other vital signs as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved program in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification or CRT registry eligibility.
  • CPR/BLS and ACLS certification.
  • One year of critical care experience, including ventilator management, preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an acute care setting, preferred.
