· Staff includes exclusively Registered Respiratory Therapists, with 65% holding BSN or higher degrees, and current certifications such as CCRN, PCCN, CNML, WCNC, NEA-BC, and RN-BC

Your Role:
The Respiratory Care Equipment Technician operates under the supervision of the respiratory department leadership and collaborates with licensed respiratory care professionals to prepare, transport, set up, and verify respiratory care equipment in both standard and emergency scenarios. This includes managing and distributing medical gas cylinders across all patient care areas.
Your Contributions to the Team:
· Engages with internal and external customers courteously and promptly addresses inquiries regarding respiratory supplies and medical gas concerns.
· Exhibits professional phone etiquette.
· Fosters respectful relationships with colleagues and collaborates effectively with other departments.
· Provides essential non-direct patient care support to the respiratory therapy department.
· Oversees the management and distribution of medical gas cylinders, including inventory control and transport to patient care areas.
Qualifications:
Skills and Experience Required for Success:
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in hospital materials management is preferred.
· Enrollment in a 2-year Accredited Respiratory Care Program.
· Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
