Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Connerton. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients of all ages, including neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
  • Initiate and maintain appropriate therapy, including life support technique and equipment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine efficacy of therapy and make recommendations for changes.
  • Perform quality controls and setup and perform oximetry, apnea, TC, and ETCO2 monitoring as ordered by physicians.
  • Initiate, maintain, transport, and monitor mechanical ventilators, including conventional and non-conventional modes of ventilation.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved program in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required or CRT registry eligible with registry RRT credential within 12 months from hire date.
  • CPR/BLS and ACLS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of critical care experience, including ventilator management.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
