We are seeking an experienced Affordable Housing Professional to join our team at Fairstead. As a leading real estate firm, we are dedicated to building sustainable communities across the country.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to assist in the management of daily operations at one of our properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager in ensuring compliance with all aspects of the HUD 4350.3 Handbook and executing intervention strategies for non-compliant tenants.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require two years of experience in affordable housing leasing or property management. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with EIV and Yardi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Property Manager in ensuring compliance with all aspects of the HUD 4350.3 Handbook.
  • Execute intervention strategies for non-compliant tenants.
  • Prepare the property for REAC reviews, EHS violations cleared, Management and Occupancy Reviews (MOR), Investor Site Reviews, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Reviews, and perform annual and interim recertification reviews.
  • Document lease violations and coordinate evictions.
  • Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to questions, complaints, and requests promptly.
