Washington Hospital is seeking a skilled Medical Claims Specialist to join our Finance Business Office team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting accurate and complete medical claims to insurance companies, as well as processing payments and adjustments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Preparation: Ensure that all medical claims are accurate, complete, and compliant with third-party billing requirements for manual or electronic submission.
- Communication: Report information to members of the Business Office team and other stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Technical Skills: Complete and demonstrate competency in all technical skills and procedures as delegated, including those outlined in the Washington Hospital Core Biller Skills & Responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, with 40 hours per week.
