Job Title: Chief Market Conduct Examiner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Market Conduct Examiner to join our team at the Office of the Insurance Commissioner. As a key member of our Market Examinations Unit, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in conducting market conduct examinations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of Market Conduct Examiners in conducting examinations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness of market conduct examinations.
  • Collaborate with other regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders to share best practices and stay up-to-date on regulatory developments.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on regulatory matters and market conduct issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies and other industry stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • 7 years of insurance experience, including a combination of degree completion and/or working in the insurance industry in an operational area such as underwriting, claims, internal audit, or customer service.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include 2 years of supervisory experience, understanding of the insurance industry, and intermediate level knowledge of TeamMate software.
