Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and making change as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide a positive shopping experience
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Basic math skills and ability to work accurately with cash and credit card transactions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of customers and colleagues
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
  • Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably in a cash handling role
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
