Operating Room Nurse Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at MaineHealth. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the success of our organization. In this role, you will work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this role is estimated to be around $100,000-$140,000 per year, depending on experience. Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. You will work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Your expertise and skills will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment, managing patient expectations, and promoting positive patient experiences.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a perioperative setting. You will also need to possess current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse and current BLS certification. Advanced certifications, such as ACLS and PALS, are highly desirable but not required. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
