Job Summary
  • Provide direct patient care to assigned patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Carry out selected procedures, administer medications, and treatments requiring understanding and technical ability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care to patients in their homes, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide wound care as needed.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida.
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing in a course of training for Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • At least one year of experience in Med-surg or other acute care area.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with patients, patient families, colleagues, physicians, and ancillary department personnel.
  • Additional certification required for IV responsibilities.
