Job Title: Senior Licensed Practical Nurse

My Florida Corp Defunct is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Senior Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to our veteran residents.

Job Summary:

The Senior Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for administering medications and treatments, monitoring and providing interventions to meet the needs of the residents, and completing accurate clinical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care and experience working with geriatric populations.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by the physician
  • Monitor and provide interventions to meet the needs of the residents
  • Complete accurate clinical documentation
  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other supportive caregivers
  • Participate in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment
  • Actively participate in continuing educational programs for self-development and in overall quality improvement programs
Requirements:
  • Licensure as a Practical Nurse in accordance with Florida Statute 464
  • Current CPR/BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • One (1) year of experience in long-term care/120-bed skilled nursing facility, with a geriatric population
  • One (1) year of experience providing practical nursing services
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) year of experience in a leadership role
  • Experience with quality improvement initiatives
