Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and caring Direct Support Professional to join our team at the Delta-T Group. In this role, you will provide individualized support and care to residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with daily living skills, including personal care, grooming, and mobility assistance.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks according to developed menus and dietary protocols.
  • Participate in household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Transport residents to appointments and community activities, promoting socialization and independence.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills essential for successful collaboration with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
