We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at Georgia Center for Sight. As a Front Desk Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, both in person and over the phone. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Interview patients and/or their representatives to obtain complete and accurate demographic, financial, and insurance information
- Verify insurance and collect copays, co-insurance, and outstanding balances
- Ensure all patient intake forms are signed and complete
- Answer patient communication pathways, including phone calls, messages, and emails
- Schedule appointments and process medical record requests
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure optimal patient experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Minimum 2 years of healthcare insurance experience
- Strong computer knowledge and skills, including typing speed of 30 WPM
- Strong desire to assist others and provide excellent customer service
- Highly dependable and organized
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Impeccably clean, polished, professional image
