We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team at the Midwest Operating Engineers Fringe Benefit Fund. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employer accounts, billing schedules, and invoicing, as well as performing account reconciliations, researching payment discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Process and manage employer accounts, including billing, collection, and reporting activities.
- Perform account reconciliations and research payment discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable and payables.
- Prepare and process bank deposits and adjustments, as well as verify charges and refunds.
- Communicate effectively with employer members and business agents, both verbally and in writing.
- Utilize computerized software programs, including ISSI, Excel, and SalesForce, to perform duties and responsibilities.
- Input monthly remittances reports and verify information before inputting it into the system.
- Run end-of-month reciprocal reports to disperse Welfare and Pension funds.
- Collect revenue by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments.
- Track workers' compensation and disability benefits to ensure accurate payments.
- Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation and issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.
- Maintain financial security and historical records by following internal accounting controls.
- Review and input contract information into ISSI.
- High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience, with an accounting background preferred but not required.
- Excellent math and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Ability to type at least 35wpm.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently.
- Ability to work independently, self-start, and demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to keep client matters strictly confidential.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
