The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the executive leadership team at LMG Healthcare, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This senior financial role is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organization, including financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's business objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage financial accounting, reporting, and analysis functions, including financial statement preparation and review.
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls to ensure the safeguarding of assets and reliability of financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with all financial and contractual reporting requirements for private or public funding, licensing, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide financial guidance and support to the executive leadership team and other departments as needed.
- Supervise and manage the Finance Department, including staff supervision, training, and development.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for all financial operations to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with the Board of Directors and the board finance committee to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or ten years' experience in a senior financial role.
- Five years of experience as a CFO, Controller, or equivalent leadership role overseeing the financial operations of a non-profit with 100+ employees and/or a $10M budget.
- Management experience with government contracts and multi-source funding.
- Knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting principles, methods, techniques, and standards as applied within a non-profit or healthcare business environment.
- Ability to plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and modify financial programs, informational support systems, and processes.
- CPA or MBA highly desirable.
- 10 years' experience as CFO or Controller.
- Experience in Non-Profit and Healthcare.
- Experience in software development or professional services business preferred.
