POSITION SUMMARY:
Delivers administrative assistance to the department, the public, and other divisions to guarantee effective, efficient, and productive operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Aids law enforcement entities with the appropriate protocols for submitting cases with Intake.

2. Directs and/or channels all incoming communications to the correct destination.

3. Prepares legal documentation for court sessions and files legal papers with the County and District Clerk's Offices.

4. Conducts legal research to enter cases and associated data into the system.

5. Digitizes documents into the database and generates reports from the same information.

6. Oversees the database information system.

7. Supports and guides fellow employees in their responsibilities.


8. Engages in activities and responsibilities related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by relevant county officials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience.

• Proficient computer and typing skills (minimum 40 wpm).

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office/Word is essential.

• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public, along with strong verbal communication skills.

SALARY RANGE:
$22.00 per hour, based on qualifications
