- Exercise professional judgment in the performance of services and maintain a demeanor conducive to quality care.
- Deliver appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
- Comply with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
- Adhere to Orlando Health mission statements and commitment to excellence standards.
- Assess the patient's physical condition and age-specific needs.
- Provide instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
- Perform proper patient identification, acquire patient's clinical history, and assure that the information is accurately documented.
- Position patient, equipment, associated devices, and manipulate technical factors to achieve high-quality images for interpretation.
- Assess diagnostic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring that all relative anatomy is visible.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure by the State of Florida.
- Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
