Imaging Technologist Role Overview

AdventHealth is seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our MRI department. As an Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures using AdventHealth MRI protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all exams using AdventHealth MRI protocols, ensuring proper patient identification and education.
  • Operate all equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors.
  • Properly screen patients, visitors, and employees for contraindications to MRI admission.
  • Review all images, repeating sequences as necessary for optimal results.
  • Use the computer system for ordering, changing, and canceling exams according to protocol.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of MRI procedures and scanners.
  • Ability to learn and grow with new technology.
  • Customer Service skills.
  • MRI Safety certification.
  • CPR (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ARRT and State of Florida registered technologist in good standing.
  • ARRT – MR certification.
