About the Role:

The MRI Technologist is a vital member of our diagnostic imaging team at AdventHealth East Orlando. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams on patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. You will work closely with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI exams using AdventHealth's protocols and guidelines
  • Screen patients for contraindications and maintain a safe and clean MRI environment
  • Operate MRI equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest MRI technologies and techniques

Requirements:

  • ARRT – MR or CT or R certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current State of Florida license as a General Radiographer (preferred)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field (preferred)
