Position Overview

This full-time role for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician involves diagnosing, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, as well as centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Technicians in this position will also troubleshoot and repair AC/DC electrical systems, interpret schematics, and utilize electrical testing instruments (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope). Our skilled technicians possess a profound understanding of Programmable Logic Controls and contribute a distinctive skill set through the application of preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking.

For those without extensive experience, we recommend exploring entry-level opportunities that align with your current skill set. Prior to the in-person interview, candidates will be required to complete a hands-on electrical skills assessment.

Daily tasks may vary based on operational needs, and work hours will differ by assigned location. The manufacturing environment can be loud, and temperature control within our facilities is limited, with indoor conditions influenced by seasonal changes and weather.

Our Maintenance team is recognized for two key areas of expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of high-voltage wiring (480V 3-phase motors)
  • Multi-craft maintenance and repair (e.g., performing interrelated repairs on electrical and mechanical systems)

  • Urgently addressing equipment issues to minimize downtime
  • Troubleshooting a diverse range of equipment
  • Conducting repairs on production and facility equipment
  • Ensuring optimal equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability
  • Responding to maintenance requests, which may involve completing ongoing repairs
  • Inspecting machinery, creating repair lists, and identifying both short-term and long-term repair needs
  • Following task lists for diagnosing machinery and implementing corrective actions
Professional insight and familiarity with our equipment operations will empower you to identify problems and take decisive action. Do you possess an electrical certification, experience in maintenance manufacturing, technical school training, or welding skills?

We offer a robust training program that can enhance your skills, provided you have a solid foundation in mechanical maintenance repair, particularly in electrical and multi-craft repairs. While not mandatory, many managers prefer candidates with at least two years of training experience in mechanical/electrical repair within a manufacturing context. Please ensure you meet the following minimum qualifications for this role:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for prolonged periods with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to work in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces
