Job Title: Construction Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Sales Executive to join our team at Apex Multifamily Builders LLC.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry, specifically in multifamily and commercial renovations. They will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and driving business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development:
    • Identify and generate leads within the apartment renovation and commercial industry through networking, referrals, and online sources.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aimed at expanding our footprint in the apartment renovations and commercial market.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Represent Apex at industry events and trade shows.
  • Client Acquisition and Management:
    • Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients, property managers, real estate developers, and architects in the multi-family apartment industry.
    • Consult with clients to understand their renovation needs, present suitable renovation solutions, and secure sales contracts.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business through excellent sales service.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to stay updated on current trends and competitor activities within the apartment renovation & commercial sectors.
    • Remain informed about emerging products, technologies, and design trends relevant to apartment renovations.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with project managers, design teams, and contractors to ensure project specifications align with client expectations.
    • Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
    • Share client feedback with internal teams to inform future project planning and product development.
    • Work closely with project management teams to ensure client satisfaction throughout project execution.
Qualifications:
  • Driven and persistent, not shy.
  • Proven sales experience in the construction industry, specifically in multifamily and commercial renovations.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, specifically within the construction industry, with a focus on multifamily renovations and commercial.
  • Strong understanding of the renovation process, building materials, and current trends in apartment renovations and commercial.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Availability to travel as needed.
