Job Title: Director of Construction

We are seeking an experienced Director of Construction to lead our construction team at Apex Multifamily Builders LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of construction project management from conception to completion.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project success.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within allocated funds.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the construction team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Review and approve project designs and blueprints.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with legal regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Foster and maintain client relationships, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential project issues.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Regularly provide project status updates to company leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on multifamily and commercial projects, including renovations and new construction.
  • Proven experience in leading both renovations and large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in construction management software such as Procore.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
