Position Summary

The Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in the development and commercialization of powertrain and gas compression technologies for an efficient gas-to-liquid synthesis system. This position involves defining the bill of materials and creating assembly instructions for M2X's engine and compressor subsystems. You will also be responsible for specifying and sourcing components to enhance performance, cost-effectiveness, and durability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop future powertrain systems for commercial units.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to manufacture hardware.
  • Lead various projects and devise innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
  • Work effectively within a team and represent M2X Energy positively with partners and clients.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related fields; minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Experience in integrating mechanical components into complex systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • At least 1 year of professional engineering experience.

Preferred:

  • Master's or PhD in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience working collaboratively in teams to deliver engineering solutions.
  • 3+ years of professional experience, particularly in engine or compressor development.
  • Familiarity with BoM/change management software, such as Autodesk Vault.
  • Ability to work independently on complex engineering projects.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $85,000 – $125,000 annually.
  • Full-time, hybrid work model.
