Position Summary

  • Manage a variety of human resources and administrative functions, including Employment, Performance Management, and Employee Relations.

Key Duties

  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws by staying informed on legislative updates and advising management as necessary.
  • Enhance employee and supervisor performance through effective problem-solving, coaching, and support.
  • Address employee inquiries, conduct thorough investigations, and escalate complex matters when required.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and management to resolve conflicts and provide HR-related assistance.
  • Review and provide feedback on performance evaluations, assist with disciplinary processes, and conduct exit interviews.
  • Identify training requirements, create development programs, and facilitate training sessions for both leadership and staff.
  • Lead recruitment initiatives for various roles and support internal promotion processes.
  • Oversee employee benefits enrollment and assist with onboarding processes.
  • Prepare HR reports, manage confidential information, and maintain official documentation.
  • Stay current with HR best practices and engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of HR experience, ideally within a Warehouse/Distribution environment. Familiarity with HR policies, regulations, and proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
  • Experience in training is considered an advantage.

Physical Requirements

This position may require standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. Fine motor skills and good visual acuity are essential.
