The University of Alabama is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Management Coordinator II to provide management and leadership for specific areas within the Emergency Management department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance and training to entry-level Emergency Management Coordinators.
- Manage the continuity of operations program.
- Serve as part of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) staff during emergencies.
- Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in emergency management.
- Master's degree and some experience in emergency management.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
- Degree in a related field.
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM).
- Previous work experience in emergency management, public safety agency, or closely related area.
- Extensive knowledge and/or experience in various software applications.
