Position: Private Equity Associate / Senior AssociateAs a Private Equity Associate / Senior Associate on our team, you will collaborate closely with senior team members to source, diligence, and manage direct private equity investments. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our portfolio.
Responsibilities:Source and Evaluate Opportunities:
- Lead sourcing efforts for private equity investments and industry operators, with a focus on technology, tech-enabled services, industrial tech, and consumer sectors.
- Conduct value-add diligence to build conviction to make investments and partner with industry operators.
Structuring and Execution:
- Demonstrate proficiency in modeling and structuring complex equity investments.
- Ensure successful execution of investment transactions.
Portfolio Management and Value Creation:
- Develop and drive value creation initiatives.
Collaboration and Cultural Adherence:
- Collaborate closely with leaders within Rockefeller Asset Management.
- Uphold and promote our firm's culture and values around integrity, community care, and pursuing excellence.
We are seeking candidates with:
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant post-undergraduate experience in private equity investing and investment banking within technology, tech-enabled services, and consumer sectors.
Track Record:
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and close equity investments, with investment sizes in the $50 to $300 million equity ranges.
Financial Acumen:
- Strong analytical skills, high intellectual curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Compensation Range:The anticipated base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Rockefeller Capital Management offers a comprehensive benefit package including health coverage, vacation time, paid leave, retirement plan, and more.
