Role Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation protocols.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new residents, including conducting all necessary assessments and documentation.
  • Develop and implement acute and long-term care plans or service plans.
  • Oversee clinical system tracking (e.g., wounds or infection control) under the guidance of the director.
  • Provide general health consultations within the community.
  • Inform physicians and/or family members of any changes in residents' health, ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
  • Respond promptly to all emergencies.
  • Maintain effective communication with all departments and staff members.
  • Conduct educational sessions for residents and staff.
  • Understand your role in the Safety & Disaster Plan.
  • Ensure confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information.
  • Handle discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation as required.

Qualifications

Education: Completion of an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program

Field of Study: General nursing

Experience: Minimum of 1 year

Relevant Experience: Senior care or a related field

Certifications: Must possess a current Licensed Practical Nurse's License in the practicing state. CPR Certification is also required.

Language Proficiency: Adequate proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues, and respond to emergency situations.

Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to collaborate as part of a team and manage multiple tasks safely and efficiently.

Personal Attributes: High resilience for working under pressure and managing critical situations with composure and professionalism.
