This role involves performing comprehensive health assessments, analyzing diagnostic tests, and managing patient care. As a healthcare provider, you will also serve as an educator, promoting wellness initiatives and assisting individuals in maintaining optimal health. Prior experience in primary care is essential. Collaboration with our team and other healthcare professionals is key. A positive mindset, teamwork, patience, and effective communication skills are crucial for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and review their medical histories
- Request and interpret diagnostic tests (such as blood tests and imaging)
- Identify health issues and medical conditions
- Recommend treatment plans for chronic and infectious diseases
- Prescribe necessary medications
- Keep precise records and manage schedules
- Educate patients regarding their health status and prescribed treatments
- Provide guidance to patients and their families on health issues, prevention, and wellness
- Monitor patients' overall health
- Advocate for healthy lifestyle choices
- Conduct follow-up calls and patient check-ins
Required Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and valid licensure
- Demonstrated experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a clinical or hospital environment
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and patient care standards
- Strong teamwork orientation with a constructive attitude
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical proficiency
