Job Overview

NRTC is seeking an OSP Manager to oversee outside plant operations at one project, ensuring efficient performance according to established standards. This role involves managing field engineering, inspection, construction of fiber and fixed wireless facilities, and overseeing the safety of the project.

About the Role

This position reports to the OSP Director and is responsible for enforcing construction standards for fiber and fixed wireless, adhering to field engineering standards and procedures, and following inspection processes to ensure construction standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Outside Plant Activities: Ensure efficient performance of outside plant activities, including fiber and fixed wireless, in accordance with established standards.
  • Enforce Construction Standards: Enforce construction standards for fiber and fixed wireless, addressing any requests related to electric purpose plant.
  • Adhere to Field Engineering Standards: Adhere to field engineering standards and procedures, facilitating the achievement of construction standards.
  • Follow Inspection Process: Follow inspection process and procedures to ensure construction standards are achieved.
Requirements
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft 365 & SmartSheet products.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communications skills.
  • RUS Construction Standards: Strong command of RUS construction standards.
  • Ability to Travel: Ability to travel as required.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. NRTC offers a competitive total rewards package, including medical (with HSA contributions from NRTC), dental, vision, and short/long term disability insurance, 12 paid company holidays, paid-time off, paid training, and more.
