OSP Inspector

We are seeking an OSP Inspector with expertise in rural technology to join our growing team at NRTC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that units placed by contractors meet the required standards and are accurately recorded according to design plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA/State/Local Safety Standards
- Recording daily activities in a construction inspector journal
- Identifying and reporting unsafe actions performed by contractors to the crew Supervisor
- Providing guidance on engineered construction prints to contractors
- Generating As-Built records using digital or hand formats
- Identifying and recording deficiencies in construction processes
- Effectively communicating corrective actions to subcontractors
- Collaborating with less-experienced inspectors to ensure seamless project execution
- Reviewing and correcting traffic control patterns, signs, and flagmen
- Understanding and adhering to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines
- Maintaining accurate As-Built records, including unit placement, deviations from engineered plans, and pertinent notes related to construction events

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Generally, 1-3 years of related experience
- Specialized training in construction experience or OSP engineering
