Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

The Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County (HOC) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate payment of invoices and other financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to invoices or payments.
  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software applications.
