Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients and their families receive exceptional care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare professionals, providing warm and considerate assistance
- Perform a combination of clerical, reception, and business duties to support the smooth operation of our hospitals and clinics
- Work effectively under minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in health administration or related field preferred
- One year of clerical support experience in a position with public contact or related experience
- Medical terminology course and experience in a physician's office or outpatient clinic setting a plus
