Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at Straub Medical Center. As a key member of our Otolaryngology department, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between patients and our professional staff, providing warm and friendly assistance
- Interview, register, admit, update, and create patients' medical records
- Process professional/technical fees generated by department providers
- Perform cash handling and collection
- Work effectively under minimal supervision and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
- High school or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- One year of clerical support in a healthcare setting or related experience
- Basic medical terminology
- Experience with EPIC
