Job Title: Customer Relations Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Relations Representative to join our team at Baker Commodities, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the food processing and restaurant industries, including hard material, grease trap services, used cooking oil collection, and repair and maintenance of drains and grease traps.
  • Customer Service: Communicate with customers on an ongoing basis to determine if they are receiving proper service, require additional services or equipment, and are overall satisfied with their service.
  • Account Management: Meet with cancelled accounts to determine the reasons for cancellation and attempt to regain the accounts.
  • Relationship Building: Schedule meetings with customers and set up cold calls in areas identified by the Division Manager and Procurement Operations Manager.
  • Communication: Communicate orally and in writing with customers and all levels of Company personnel, including business owners, Division management, and staff in various departments.
  • Reporting: Provide daily reports to the Division General Manager and Procurement Operations Manager.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years' experience and contacts in the restaurant/food industry.
  • Skills: Able to work independently, working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Education: High school diploma.
  • License: Valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR.
  • Travel: Local travel up to 90%.

Physical Demands/Requirements:

  • Constantly: Travels to customer locations and moves throughout customer facilities such as kitchens and areas where grease collection occurs.
  • Frequently: Moves throughout the office accessing files, office machinery, etc.
