Position Overview
ManTech is currently seeking a driven and customer-focused Materials Engineer to enhance our team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess materials and devise machinery and processes for manufacturing materials that adhere to specialized design and performance standards.
  • Innovate new applications for existing materials, collaborating with metals, composites, ceramics, glass, plastics, polymers, semiconductors, and natural materials to formulate new materials that fulfill specific mechanical, electrical, and chemical criteria.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 7-12 years of pertinent experience.
  • Proficient in various concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
  • Utilizes extensive experience and judgment to strategize and achieve objectives, independently executing a wide range of complex tasks.
  • May supervise and guide the work of others.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree.
  • Experience with military aircraft such as F-16, A-10, or T-38.

Clearance Requirements:
Active Secret clearance is necessary.

Physical Requirements:
The individual in this role must be capable of remaining stationary for 50% of the time. Occasional movement within the office is required to access files and communicate with colleagues and management.

Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $69,000-$114,500. Various factors may influence the final salary, including relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and educational background.
